The Neuroscience, Cognition and Education theme of Capes-PrInt-Unifesp announces the free course given by professor Bin Zheng from the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada). Professor Bin Zheng coordinates the Surgical Simulation Research Laboratory and has international recognition for eye-tracking studies in neurosurgery and laparoscopic surgery.
Eye-tracking technology is widely used in educational research because it reveals much information about attention, focus, and cognitive effort. The discoveries and innovations in several research areas have impacted professional development and training in health science careers, especially surgical training. With the advent of immersive technologies, eye-tracking technology has become even more relevant to studying learning phenomena. This course will cover the fundamentals of eye tracking, as well as advances in this technology with applications in research using mobile eye tracking.
The official language of the course is English. It will take place at Anf. Jandira Masur (Rua Botucatu, 862 - Vila Clementino) from August 21st to August 27th. For more information and registration, access the link.
