Internships

OPTIONAL INTERNSHIP FOR RESIDENTS OF A FOREIGN INSTITUTION

The Multiprofessional Residency Program in Health and in Professional Health Area of the Federal University of São Paulo is managed through the University´s Multiprofessional Residency Committee-COREMU that may receive second year residents for an optional internship.

Professionals must come from partner institution, University Hospitals or other Higher Education Institutions provided that he/she comes from a Multiprofessional Residency in Professional Health Area.

The internship has a minimum duration of 15 days and a maximum duration of 30 days and can be realized between the months of June and December.

Programs

MULTIPROFESSIONAL RESIDENCY PROGRAM IN HEALTH AND IN PROFESSIONAL HEALTH AREA

The Multiprofessional Residency in Health and in Professional Health Area (MRHPH) is a graduate education program (specialized course) destined to professions in the health area characterized by teaching in service with a workload of 60 (sixty) hours in compliance with article 1 of the Interministerial Ordinance No. 506 of April 24, 2008. At Unifesp the Program is managed through the University´s Multiprofessional Residency Committee-COREMU.

The MRHPH may be constituted by the articulation between the following professions in the health areas: Biomedicine, Biological Sciences, Physical Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Veterinary Medicine, Nutrition, Dentistry, Psychology, Social Service and Occupational Therapy (Interministerial Ordinance No. 45 of 12/01/2007).

The MRHPH is accredited by the National Commission for Multiprofessional Health Residency (CNRMS) and aims at progressively improving the professional and scientific standards of the residents and to improve health care in the professional areas.

The admission to MRHPH will take place through a public selection process carried out according to the Call specifically designed for this purpose and widely publicized.
