MEDICAL RESIDENCY PROGRAMS
The Medical Residency Programs maintained by the Escola Paulista de Medicina (EPM) of the Federal University of São Paulo are duly accredited by the National Commission of Medical Residency (CNRM) and are managed through the University´s Medical Residency Committee (COREME).

FOREIGN MEDICAL GRADUATES
Requirements for admission of foreign doctors and Brazilians trained in Medicine abroad to participate at Unifesp´s Medical Residency Programs:
1. candidates must be approved in the annual selective process for admission at the Medical Residency Programs of the Escola Paulista de Medicina;
2. candidates must present the original diploma and a photocopy (front and back)of the Medical Course REVALIDATED by a Brazilian public university under the terms of the Law;
3. foreign doctors must present the original stay visa in Brazil and a photocopy (except for citizens from Mercosur, Bolivia and Chile);
4. foreign doctors whose native language is NOT Portuguese must present the original and a photocopy of the “Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese for Foreigners” (CELPE-BRAS), with an intermediate level grade, issued by the Ministry of Education in accordance with Resolutions 1,831 / 2008 and 1.832 / 2008 of the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM)
