Unifesp has three Extension Units, two of which located in the city of São Paulo ( Zona Leste and Santo Amaro) and one located in the city of Embu das Artes (25 Km from the city of São Paulo).
The Extension Units aims at implementing the extension policy of the university, through the articulation with teaching and research, enabling a permanent dialogical interaction with the population and the various social movements and institutions of the locality.
