Objetivos
Estudos da Relação Estrutura-atividade de peptídeos biologicamente ativos visando o desenvolvimento de drogas antitumorais, antimicrobianas, disfunção erétil, espermicida, preservante de espermatozoides, obesidade, hipertensão arterial.
Principais Métodos
Isolamento de fontes animais e vegetais, síntese, purificação e caracterização peptídeos bioativos.
Infraestrutura
Laboratório no primeiro andar do Edifício do INFAR, HPLCs analíticos (2) e preparativos (4), LC/ESI-MS, LC/ESI-MS-MS, fotômetro, fluorímetro, Dicroísmo Circular, FT-IR, analisador de aminoácidos, etc.
